Even starting in the 1970s, car accident deaths have been in decline. The reason for the decline is because vehicles have completely improved in safety. Now, vehicle manufacturers are following government laws and regulations to grow car safety.

That all changed in 2019 when vehicle accident deaths increased by seven percent in the past year. Due to this, it is extremely important to drive a safe vehicle. The latest amounts from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety shows that the entire death rate is about sixty-five deaths per million registered vehicles. This is the highest rate of vehicle driver deaths to list.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety researched the numbers for crash deaths and the vehicles these accidents occurred in. Such statistics comprised all vehicles with more than 100,000 registrations. Also, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety found its conclusions by assessing the ratio of driver deaths per million registered vehicles.

Below is a list of the 10 vehicles named the most fatal and dangerous vehicle in America. Studied by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the following 10 vehicles had the lowest safety ratings, as measured by the number of fatalities per mile:
